lost OD

on the way home from the WV rally, boppin' along at about 65, wife driving, hit a bump and the trans pops out of OD! then no over drive! at all! no noise,no grinding,no nothing. it feels like it's going in but there is nothing there, neutrel! so i've been driving in forth for the time being. I know somthing is broke but I don't know what yet. Has anyone else had this or something like it happen, so I'll have a place to start looking? Dave.
