Yes, mine really is a clean installation. The drive lines are in good shape and everything is tucked neatly into position. The pto is an aftermarket unit that drives from the rear. I don't understand why they didn't just use the double ended pto and drive the two winches with the respective shafts. I have to believe the cost of a double pto, even back when this was done, was substantial.
The only flaw in my system is the cables that control the double pto. I was trying to figure out how to design and build a set of levers that could be used in the cab. Do you still have the linkage system you took off?
