hood corners rub on fenders

I am trying to get all the little things worked out on "Kirkwood" if possible before the WVA Rally, and I noted a problem with my hood corners. The hood fits fairly well and latches, except at the rear corners. I have a problem there especially on the passenger side. I will be having to repaint the fender often if I do not get it fixed.
I saw a post by Casebro on the archives about this being caused by the cab having sagged relative to the frame, and raising the cab a tiny bit with washers to fix this. Anyone else? Obviously I could grind metal on the hood corner but am reluctant.
