We need to learn to be more conservative with our purchases, learn to take better care of what we have, repair it, make it last, etc. such as our parents, grandparents, etc did in their time.
We live in a throw away society, and we need to be more respectful of the earth's limited resources, and impending-bulging populations.
Our problems are deep rooted. I enjoy this forum and it's members as whole, because we seem to follow these basic principles.
too many of the new generation just expect and take, with rich parents who gladly dole it out......I tend to look to the past for the qualities I like and respect in people.
