brake pedal

Did dodge use the same brake pedal for all the power wagons or did they change them when they went with the 251 motor? I have a truck with a 251 and the brake pedal is out of it and I cant get it back in ( i didnt take it out I bought the frame with the 251 installed with no pedals in it)I cant get the pedal assembly to clear the pto any help is greatly appreciated
