Question for either of you and opinion ,you guys seem to have a real handle on the welding scene today . In shops today for thick steel in fabricating over 3/8 and up to the big stuff . Is mig or stick the choice for heavy material . I only ask because the local welding shop in town here uses Mig all the time must be a reason .I seldom ever see them stick weld at all .Is one better than the other or is a cost factor or speed ,i am a little out of the loop on the "new" stuff thanks Copey
