I helped a friend unstick a clutch disc that had rusted to the flywheel in a 1952 Power Wagon. It never got rained on, but high humidity and the fact that he was not driving it every day, but leaving it sit for periods in a barn, caused the parts to rust together.
He cut a piece of 1-1/2" gas pipe at just the right length to fit snuggly between the clutch pedal and the brake pedal when the clutch pedal is depressed all the way to the floor. The pipe holds the pedal down and the pressure plate off of the disc. No more sticking issues. Now he does this on all his trucks.
This method works great, but over time, it will weaken the clutch pedal return spring and the springs in the pressure plate.
The best answer is to drive the truck every few days. Doing so also seems to help to pprevent brake cylinder rusting issues, I have found.
