I have a 1952 M37. Every time I get heavy rain and I have not driven the truck for 3 weeks, the clutch plate freezes to the flywheel. When I depress the clutch, it does not disengage. I have to spray WD40 on it then engage the 4 low gear wheel drive, start it in low then drive it on a side road until the plate disengages. It might take 20 min. of starting and sudden braking to free it up.
Is there anything that can be done prevent this? I park it (outside) in gear to save my parking break.
