Installing the rad in my carryall question

Can I unbolt the top of the rad shroud and slide the rad in place ? i picked up a rad yesterday and want to test fit the thing before getting it recored . It would be nice to just order the core and solder it in place on my own . I guess I need to see what paul did when he had his made .
I got a rear fender too . No tailgate hinges though.
