I don't mean to beat this subject until it is dead but I want to make the right decision. I have been told that the 16.5" wheels don't have a safety rim or something on them which doesn't let them air down nearly as far a a 16. The wheel company couldn't make the origonal 16" wheel center fit into a 16 radial and would have to put it in a 16.5 which would look better and be cheaper. The 16 would just have a solid core center. If any of you have had experience with the 16.5 how much of a difference is it? How much less can you air down?
Thanks in advance
