Assigned with the dozers to a fire on Hiway 166 between Bakersfield and Santa Maria. Got here yesterday about 2 in the afternoon. So far a little over 1500 acres in grass. but oh, that grass. In some places over 6 to 7 feet tall. Lots and lots and lots of btu's comin off that stuff.
