So this engine does not have a number stamped into the normal location? Have you checked the top of the pad where many of the long block numbers are stamped?

The casting numbers are not clearly defined in the literature I have, and from what I have seen of numbers in the field they are pretty broad, not nice and pin pointed like the T137 stamp for example.
