Rod bearings

I believe I have a warn rod bearing. The engine started making a banging nose while going up a hill. There was no loss of power and I had to drive it another 2 miles home. I could not isolate the cylinder the noise was coming from so my next step is to pull the pan of and unbolt the rod caps. Does anyone have a picture of what a worn one may look like?? or any advise??
