I'm pretty sure it's just a regular mopar flathead 6 that some marketeers decided needed a more impressive name. Probably came out of a car. If you grind "SPITFIRE" off the head, you might accomplish the same same thing as changing the engine. I'm curious what the more knowledgeable folks will say.
