Yeah I know where you are, I have alot of friends in the area. I went to high school at Dulles High in Sugarland, graduated in '94.
My bed is too modified in my opinion. I would rather spend the time fixing the cab then trying to make my bed back into the express bed. Don't get me wrong, it's still useable, needs some rust issues taken care of. I think buying new bedsides or some nice originals like the ones on the Craigslist ad is the way to go.
My big plans are to repower with the Cummins 4BT and 5spd tranny. Especially after seeing Paul's trucks. That will be a long time coming though. I may just do the 12V conversion and get her running/body, paint, etc. and do the conversion later. The other option is a 360 with SMPI fuel injection, full Chrysler swap so it's as close to driving a new truck (as far as the engine is concerned), I hate carburetors!
