what year truck? vin #s didnt get stamped on blocks untill 68.
B- engine= (361,383) have a stamp pad in front of the pass head on the block right where the head and block meet. Might say 38 instead of 383
RB=engine- (413, 426, 440) engine has a stamp pad in front of the valley pan about between the water pump housing and where the red battery cable is grounded on the block. If that is where you found the tr41 it would be for 413 may also have a date.
