wiring issue on 98 2500

Off topic but I'm sure someone will have some ideas.I've lost the all the turn signals , flashers and brake lights.Seems to have happened just after using my trailer with electric brakes and finding out after, that the wiring on the trailer connection was rewired by a friend who borrowed it.I'm wondering if the power to the brakes went back into the signal/brake light circuit and has caused some damage?I've checked the fuse and flasher.Any ideas?
