I guess it depends how much time you waste taking care not to ruin the wood or scratch the sides. I'd hate to see how she'd fare on a restored truck if you loaded that bed up with rock using a loader with a 2 yard bucket :)
I mean a new pickup is no better but at least the bed is double walled now so you don't see all the dents like every original Express bed I've ever seen except Wilbur.
