Wood for stake bed

This is a little off topic, however it never hurts to ask. I am looking to do a stake bed around the current flat bed, and I am seeking advice on types. I am thinking either teak, iron wood, or red wood, they all handle the weather nicely, and are decent in the structure department. Any suggestions? Also suggestions on the dimensions? I was thinking 1x6 in three rows. But I am open to suggestions.
