Finished streeping/cleaning the rifle. The operating rod radii seems ok. What I did find was a lack of lubricant after reparkerizing and the barrel port to the gas cylinder was partially plugged with hard carbon. Started with a 1/6 drill to clean and ended up with a 5/64 to fully clean the port using my fingers to twist the drill. Everything greased/oiled where required and it's assembled. Will test next time at the range. Thanks to everyone who responded, must helpfull!
