Youu can still buy american winches like that. Or there are enough used american ones in good shape around also. I have a Whino, japanese copy of an MU2. no one seems to want it and it has broken casting parts. I have never seen any bradens with broken cast parts. And I have seen some real beat on Bradens over the years. Wth the kind of forces put on winches Iwould never run any asian castings.
