Are the wheels on "backwards" too, maybe to clear the body? I knew one PW around here that had the left front wheel on the normal way and the right one on backwards so it stuck way out. I never did find out who owned it and why it was that way. Maybe he had a good reason, but I can't imagine what it would be. The guy had also solved the fuel pump issues by mounting a gas tank on the top of the cab.
