The Leaf spring U bolts MUST NOT be reused. The deep nuts distort the U Bolt threads on tightening. If you remove them, they must be thrown away and replaced with new U Bolts and Nuts with hardened washers. You can go to any good truck spring shop. They will custom bend new U bolts and supply the nuts and washers. After you tighten/torque the new U bolts, check the torque in a week or so of driving and you will find they need to be re-torqued.
I would suggest checking them again after a few months.
