Pinion Wear - (Large Picture)

Well, I picked up a replacement center section for the rear of the 46 (Red) Power Wagon. It's Pinion shows more wear than any I have had, but it's still got all it's teeth, unlike the one I pulled out (http://wawii.com/powerwagon/images/DSC03697_46PW_RearDifferential.JPG).

What do you think?

The Ring gear doesn't show as much wear and it's caps were not tight like I'm used to. there was a few metal shavings in the case.
