It's a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. If they don't use deadly force the question is asked why didn't they? If they do use deadly force then of course the question is asked why and the clamouring begins. It's always amusing when you see someone write in and ask why didn't the police shoot to wound the felon? Yeah right, try that when you're adrenaline is pumping and you're running and dodging bullets. The police do an overall great job and I have nothing but admiration and respect for the job they do. It's not as if they're in it for the money when you look at their salaries either. My heart goes out to the families of the slain officers in Washington State.
