I just sold a WD21 for a friend on Ebay this week. He originally bought it for the 4.30 ratio in the rear end. He was going to repalace it with a WC 1/2 ton carrier and axles before he sold it.
He also told me that a 1/2 ton WC front would bolt up except it would be 5 lug instead of six so changing to 1/2 ton axles in the rear would give you 5 lug all the way around.
