Concerning a 2wd Dodge 1 ton...

1) the rear axle looks similar to the axle on a 1/2 ton WC are they the same?

2) what is the "on center" spring width on the front of the pilot house 1 ton. Same as a 1/2 ton WC possibly? That is, would a 1/2 ton WC front axle bolt in place of the 2wd axle?
