Help Winterizing An Engine

Hi,
I have a parts truck I recently picked up and I am looking for suggestions on how I should winterize the engine. The radiator has a pretty good leak. Should I cap the lower radiator hose an fill the engine with antifreeze? Or, should I just try to drain all the coolant out of the engine? How would I go about drain all the anitfreeze out of a 318 Poly? Thanks in advance for any help.
