Did that.
I told him that I had about $750 into it.
He said, "well, I'd be willing to go $1000 or maybe $1500 on it...
Thought it was fair but then started thinking about it after he left. I realized that I have not been following the market at all and needed a reality check.
Also thought about the fact that my '50 B2 needs a winch and it will likely cost me ~$800 for that alone. The Town Wagon already has one on it...
Not trying to be greedy but also don't want to leave $1K sitting on the table due to ignorance. I have no reference point - hence why I asked...
