If there original tires its possible the bead lock ring is still in place making the removal more difficult. You can not push the tire bead downward in an attempt to break them loose.
When the tire is practically rusted to the rim I have used a sawzall and also worked them over with a rotohammer, using a blunt chisel in the crack to seperate the tire from the rim.
