This is the workorder to reinforce the tailgate. My question is: given the way this reinforcing steel was welded, how have any of you handled this restoration? It would seem to me that rust would be a real problem getting between the two layers of steel. Would it be feasible to weld it solid between the fillet welds? I'm curious.
