Then I thought about it before I even used the gas engine powered welder and thought since this is a REAL long term investment, they will allow me to bring back the gas powered AC-DC 250GXT and get the Diesel 305D that ONLY does DC and I would have to spend a couple more thousand. So my concern is should I keep the gasoline powered 250GXT that does BOTH AC and DC or get the Diesel powered 305D that ONLY does DC? It seems I would be spending MORE money for a Diesel, but getting a Diesel powerede welder that does NOT have AC, but only DC?
Should I just STAY with my gasoline powered AC DC welder and shut up?
