you are correct about the explosion proof dist.
I didn't say they were waterproof, i suggested a marine app because they usually handle moisture better than automotive. i WOULD NEVER have a gas powered boat. sitting on all that gas is a disaster in the making. i have a NON turbo lehman diesel in my rig. the new gas destroys old boat engines, tanks, lines etc. it also has a shelf life that makes for big problems if it gets old.
