I just got home from more fires in So. Cal.
It was like Christmas. 4 new leaf springs from Power Wagons West, a few boxes from Por 15, an NOS fuel gauge, and a travel claim check from that State that four months ago was an IOU for 140 bucks!
Im workin on gettin the leaf springs installed so I can finish up the axles and put the brakes and tires on.
But the first spring and I have a problem. The bolt head is taller than the hole in the axle casing is deep. So.... do i grind some of the head off, or drill the hole deeper? Common sense would tell me to grind the head of the bolt on the springs down, so I dont drill into the hollow axle case.
Thanks
Nick
