O.T but dodge

I have a 99 3/4 ton ram with 37" tires. Tranny shifts up and down alot.
I think its confused because of the tall tires
The original tires were 30" with 4.10 gears.
To get back to spec on gears im wanting to go to a 5.18 gear.
My rear axle is a spicer 70 and front is a dana 60F limited spin diff.
Is it a simple change gear job or do the carriers need to be swaped also?
