The 39-47 Dodge 2wd truck had the tank under the seat. I'm pretty sure the bigger trucks(over 1 ton) had the tank elsewhere as I have one with no cab filler hole.

I'd be interested from others for verification of this. I got a cab from a friend and we thought it was military because of no hole and no cowl lights. I think now it was from a WF or something. Kevin
