It was driving me crazy because I was not getting a spark. I went to check the dwell angle and the dwell would not move. I used a volt meter and found that the metal clip on the points had become electrically dis connected, where the rivits go through. I still can't believe it because it looks fine. The points are not burned at all so there is no real reason to change the condensor.
