Kevin had done a lot of research, including talking with th company that makes Pickle X.
There is a lot of unanswered questions from this research. I have used it on all my trucks and a Model A with no adverse results.
Most everyone on the Autobody forum swear by Pickle X. From now on, I will use it to protect new steel in my shop from flash rust.
I just dont know, but I have sure used a lot of it.
