You really can't expect uch from something that costs about 10 bucks a unit in case lots + shipping.
After 45 years of napping behind a helmet I usually find the ones I can't see thru get a lot better after the spatter lense is replaced and the filter cleaned.
Autodarkening helmets are for use by Weldabaters. More crap dumped into the market to send more money to China.
