My '52 had a cab plate and a title that confirmed it so I was fortunate there. But, the frame number was obliterated by rust. After careful sandblasting it could not be found.
Eastern trucks for example tend to have more rust. My frame was solid and did not need new metal welded in, but there was enough surface rust to eliminate the number.
Yours apparently is the same.
As M Fanoni says, look at the wheels. My wheels were also stamped '52.
Maybe someone else can answer about the cab plate number, like Eric B or Clint?
