Serial number

I was disappointed in not finding a serial number on my truck. I knew it had no cab tag but I thought the frame number would be under the doubler plate which was welded to the front frame. Yesterday I cut the doubler off betwwen the shock and steering box but found nothing but rust and no numbering.

The winch I know is a 57. What else can date this truck? Is it possible to date the cab from the Budd cab number? Thanks
