I'm getting old. I could swear that I had researched 3/8 fibercore ss wire rope vs galvanized stel and found the SS stronger. However looking again I cannot find any comparasins to support my memory. Indeed it does seemn that the SS is about 10-20 percent weaker.
Sorry for the unsupported assertion....
