When I first found out about it was when the mechanics at the Coop (Cenex farm store) suggested I use it in the closed knuckles on a Dana 60 front end, to avoid tearing it down to replace the leaky seals, etc. Worked great, and I am still using it in my W300 and W500, as well as all 4 winches.
