I have been running my winch for years with corn head grease, as suggested here on the forum. Some heavy use like yarding large logs and pulling stumps. I think using it has allowed me to postpone rebuilding the winch - how long I don't know. I do know my winch does not leak one drop, and before it would leak out all the 90 wt. it could in a few months. One less pan on the floor!
