... the oil seal adventure continues. Called the tractor parts guys with Rockwell# A1205R772. This seal had identical dimensions to mine, except for inside diameter (theirs: ID=3.875", mine=3.315"). Other than that, they were identical.
The tractor guys were not up for hunting through bins for one with the correct ID. They sent me to White Owl, who sent something that isn't going to work. They weren't up for much bin hunting either.
We are close, probably just a number or two off - of course it would be nice if they printed the numbers on the parts, but I suppose they hadn't invented that yet.
