When I lived in Honolulu, my landlord had a 1929 Model A Ford station wagon with a wood body. He was the original owner.
Here's a 1914 Ford Station Wagon - also known as a depot hack. Wood was a common material for the framing of regular production steel automobile bodies for many years.
The Morgan had a wood chassis.
There's so much you youngsters haven't heard of.
