Oil filter

The '49 PW I just bought has no oil filter.
I have a Frantz By-Pass filter that I would like to install. I had this unit installed on a Ford engine years ago with no other filter, and it did an excellent job. I need to know where the oil ports are on the stock T137 engine. This seems like it would make a very suitable replacement for the missing original filter, no? Thanks, JH
