My perusal of the net tells me that anydamn rubber is good, just not leather. But that was learned in the '40s.
Sheets of various materials are available, but I've never heard the right stuff defined. Nylon? Butyl? Silicone? even Teflon. All kinds of stuff available, some quite costly. What's the right stuff?
