Got a surprise yesterday. I had a NDT tire go flat on one of my trucks about 3 years ago and I just put one of my spares off another truck on there and have been driving it ever since. Well I finally got around to taking the flat tire to the tire shop to get fixed because it was a relatively new tire (1968!) and one of my best ones. I figured that since it was the old split ring type it would cost me around $50 to get a new tube installed but when they handed me the bill it was just $16! Sounded very fair to me since last year when I took a tubeless motorcycle tire to the local motorcycle shop because I had already mounted the new tire but couldn't get it to take air, so all I wanted them to do was air it up and they charged me $40 bucks! Needless to say, that was my last dealings with them!
