One quick question: When tightening the pinion bearing preload to 300 - 400 ft lbs(squeezing the crush sleeve), do you use an impact or torque wrench. How do you hold it if you use a torque wrench? I've done gearboxes before and understand gear lash but never have rebuilt a rear end. Thanks, Kevin

I have used 2 wood blocks on the pinion - dank and wet coast bruce 14:14:22 03/31/2009
